The Canvas Approach
What makes Canvas Pilates different.
Honoring the Method.
We honor the lineage of Joseph Pilates through teaching grounded in the integrity, precision, and intention of the classical method.
Designed for You.
Not a Template.
Pilates that Transforms.
We believe the true power of Pilates lies not only in the results it creates, but in the way it empowers clients to embody the practice over time. Through precise instruction and consistent practice, students build strength, refine alignment, and carry the work into everyday life.

“At my first private session with Marcia, I felt unsure and not physically or emotionally strong. I was just making my way back from a serious health crisis which had lasted several years. I was now on the other side of this and so ready to get my physical strength back. I needed to find someone who would give personalized attention to my individual limitations & abilities. Marcia was the perfect answer to this need. She listened to me, designed my sessions to help me make a slow return to strength and she supported me with encouragement the whole way.”
